“North Baldy,” was renamed in 1931 to honor Lord Robert S.S. Baden-Powell, founder of the Boy Scout movement in 1907. Rising an impressive 9407 feet, this historic peak is the fourth highest individual peak of the San Gabriel Mountains. The four mile hike to the summit boasts an impressive array of wildflowers as well as various pine and cedar trees.
