It's a small (social) world after all.
We're newcomers to the world of social media, and, trust me, I don't know all the ins and outs, but I do know it will make it a lot easier for us to stay in touch. You won't be wondering if we are still in business.
Over the years, I've found that many of you are interested in my story--how this unlikely business got started. So I've started an album on mountainclimb.com Facebook documenting our 15 year history. It all started with a hole in the floor.
We also started a Facebook album of bench mark photos submitted by Marker Sleuth contributors. Because we do a little travel in our aptly named Airstream Basecamp, we've started posting our photos. We hope you'll post your travel and bench mark photos, too.
Twitter will give us a quick way to send out messages about new products and news. We'll even occasionally announce sales and specials exclusive to our Twitter followers and Facebook Friends/Fans/Likers.
Most importantly, we want to listen to you and thank you. We hope this will make it easier for you to let us know what you would like to see next. Pull together a critical mass and we make sure you get it. (What constitutes a critical mass? 50 small bench mark items, or 25 bench mark paperweights of the same title.) We're committed to filling out the state high point and 14er collections and your input will make it happen.
